A sophisticated robotic rig which function-tests each and every V2 Dyson Digital Motor as they come off the production line. It ensures the motors are working perfectly, before they go into the DC30, DC31 and DC31 Animal cordless handhelds, and the DC35 Digital Slim stick-vac. The motors are manufactured, assembled and tested in a clean-room environment on an entirely automated production line, and no human hand ever touches them before they go into the cleaner. The Digital Motor production plant in Singapore runs at a capacity of over 1000 000 units a year.
